Curriculum Vitae: Dennis Robert Adams
Summary
Dennis Adams became CEO and Managing Director of Dennis Adams Associates in 2004, and has led the company through initial startup phase to a cash-positive valuation.
Following his graduation in 1979, Dennis originally joined the Midland Bank (now part of HSBC) as a Management Trainee. He subsequently embarked on an IT career in 1983, initially as a Systems Programmer, before moving into Systems Administration.
His IT Production experience has included Systems Management, Database Administration, and Infrastructure and Operations Architecture and Strategy, in sectors including Finance, Insurance and Manufacturing. He has also been UK Business Manager in Common Sense Computing (now part of Quest Software), providing solutions for IT Infrastructure Management.
He is qualified in ITIL, is a Six-Sigma Green Belt, and has PRINCE2 foundation qualifications.
Dennis is an Associate of the Chartered Quality Institute, and a Member of the IT Service Management Forum (ITSMF). He is a Chartered IT Professional Member of the British Computer Society, a member of the "ELITE" group, and other special interest groups. In addition, he is a member of the HP Users Group and the UK Oracle Users Group.
He has a first class Honours Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science and Greek Studies from the University of Keele, Staffordshire, UK.
